Brighton and Hove Albion pulled off an FA Cup fourth round shock as they beat Newcastle 1-0 at the Amex Stadium.

Will Buckley’s 77th-minute shot went in off Newcastle defender Mike Williamson, who will be ‘credited’ with an own-goal.

The Championship side gave a superb account of themselves, but were fortunate not to concede a late penalty when Lewis Dunk used his hands to block a Yohan Cabaye shot.

Cabaye could find himself in trouble with the FA after appearing to kick out at Adam El-Abd in an incident not spotted by referee Lee Probert.
