Manchester City 3-2 Tottenham – Match Highlights (Premier League)

Mario Balotelli converted a stoppage-time penalty to secure an astonishing 3-2 Premier League win for Manchester City against Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium.

The Italian substitute kept his cool to beat Brad Friedel in the 94th minute, minutes after Jermain Defoe missed an open goal to give Tottenham a memorabe victory.

It was a fitting conclusion to a memorable second half, which saw Spurs come back from two down in a spell of four goals in less than 10 minutes.

Samir Nasri and Joleon Lescott had given City an apparently comfortable lead, but they were quickly pegged back by Defoe and a peach of a strike from Gareth Bale.

Ledley King had given Spurs an apparent boost by returning to the Spurs line-up, but proved the villain with his reckless challenge on Balotelli at the death, which gave referee Howard Webb no choice but to point to the spot.
