AC Milan 2-1 Novara – Match Highlights (Coppa Italia)

Alexandre Pato scored an extra-time winner as AC Milan edged past Novara 2-1 in their Coppa Italia last-16 tie at the San Siro.

Pato netted 10 minutes into the first extra period to end the visitors’ hopes of an upset.

Novara, who sit bottom of the Serie A table, had equalised in the 88th minute through Ivan Radovanovic after Stephan El Shaarawi had given Milan a 24th-minute lead.

Lazio, AS Roma, Chievo and Napoli are already through. Inter Milan host Genoa on Thursday.
