The Best Of Cristiano Ronaldo – 2009/2010 Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo joined Spanish giants Real Madrid on the 26th of June 2009. The Spanish club paid a staggering £80 million to Manchester United in order to secure the services of the Portuguese international.

Cristiano Ronaldo made his Real Madrid debut on 21 July in a 1–0 win over Shamrock Rovers and went on to play 29 competitive matches while scoring an impressive 26 goals in his injury plagued first season.

Ronaldo broke a Madrid club record when he scored in a league match against Villarreal and thus became the first ever player to score in his first four La Liga appearances.

Ronaldo is currently in the United States for Real Madrid’s pre-season tour. How will Ronaldo perform for Real Madrid in his second season for the Spanish giants? Only time can tell.
