Beckham : Fan Invasion Blown Out Of Proportion!

LA Galaxy star David Beckham has played down the invasion of England’s dressing room by one fan.

Beckham insists the incident, which is being investigated by FIFA, has been blown out of proportion.

Becks, who is assisting Fabio Capello’s coaching staff in South Africa, said: “He didn’t comment on the performance, he literally walked in and said hello.

“It was a very personal conversation. He just walked in very casually, said something to me and then walked out.

“There was no scuffle, there was no aggression at all.”

The fan made his way to the dressing room just moments after Capello’s dejected team had been visited by Princes William and Harry.

Beckham, 35, added: “Luckily it was after the princes had left — five to 10 minutes after.

“Obviously it’s been blown out of all proportion as well.”
