Arsenal Defender Sol Campbell Pondering Celtic Switch

New Celtic first team coach Alan Thompson is keen to see Arsenal veteran Sol Campbell make the move to Parkhead.

It has been reported that Sol Campbell is now mulling over an offer from the Hoops.

Thompson said: “I think Sol would be a great one to have around. I spoke to someone about him the other day and they said they’d seen him recently and he was in great condition.

“He’s experienced and he’s still got pace. I watched him in the odd game last season with Arsenal. He has that mentality to win games.”
