Everton Confident Of Seeing Off Arsenal Interest In Phil Jagielka

Everton are confident of seeing off Arsenal interest in defender Phil Jagielka.

Local newspapers reported that Everton are unworried by continuing speculation linking Arsenal with a bid for Jagielka.

Various reports have suggested Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will try and boost his defence by signing the England defender, but Everton have already declared the 27-year-old not for sale.

Jagielka is contracted on Merseyside until 2014 after signing a five year extension deal last year, and is happy at the club.
