Ledley King To Miss Algeria Match After Muscle Injury

England manager Fabio Capello confirmed that Ledley King will miss the Algeria match after going off injured at half-time to be replaced by Jamie Carragher during the 1-1 draw with the USA.

“The doctor told me had some problems with his abductor (muscle) — he will not fit be for next game,” Capello said.

And in addition to the enforced change in the back four, the England coach will have plenty of thinking to do about replacing goalkeeper Robert Green before the next match following his headline-grabbing error.
