Fabio Capello’s England open their World Cup Group C campaign against the USA with a disappointing 1-1 draw at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium near Rustenburg.

The Three Lions made an impressive start to the game and took the lead through the team captain Steven Gerrard.

USA however scraped through and scored the equalizer just before half time thanks to a horrific blunder from England goalkeeper Robert Green.
