Will Brazil Miss Ronaldinho At The World Cup? – Video

Brazil coach Dunga has named his 23-man squad for the World Cup finals in South Africa and among the most notable absentees from this squad is the AC Milan pair of Ronaldinho and Alexandre Pato.

I can understand why Dunga left Pato out of the Brazil squad but i still can’t believe he did not pick Ronaldinho. Some might say that Ronaldinho is no longer the player he used to be and that he has loat his magic.

He may have had a roller coaster season with AC Milan but it was clear that the midfielder was getting back to his absolute best. He even vowed that he would work hard to get back into Brazil’s World Cup squad but it was not to be.

Dunga instead decided to go with Gilberto Silva (Panathinaikos), Felipe Melo (Juventus), Ramires (Benfica), Elano (Galatasaray), Kaka (Real Madrid), Julio Baptista (Roma), Kleberson (Flamengo) and Josue (VfL Wolfsburg).

I believe that Dunga has made a mistake in not selecting Ronaldinho as his creativity and talent could make a difference in an already talented side. Ronaldinho also possesses the knowledge and experience of playing in the World Cup but Dunga thought that maybe it was not necessary.

Whatever it may be, Ronaldinho will not be in the World Cup and truly this World Cup would be less exciting for me. Ronaldinho could have brought Brazil to a whole different level but it was not to be.

Check out the following video and see for yourself what Ronaldinho could have brought to the Brazilian side in this World Cup.
