Altidore Injury Sends Scare Through The USA National Team Camp

An ankle injury sustained by young striker Jozy Altidore has sent a scare through the USA national team camp.

The 20-year Villarreal man sprained his ankle at training on Wednesday but thankfully an x-ray proved there was no serious damage.

His situation is rated day-to-day and he will undergo a fitness test ahead of Saturday’s friendly against Australia to be played in Roodepoort on the outskirts of Johannesburg.
