Real Madrid Closing In On Benfica Midfielder Fabio Coentrao

Interesting news are out and it has been reported that Real Madrid are in talks for Benfica midfielder Fabio Coentrao.

Spanish newspapers report that Coentrao’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has discussed the young midfielder with Real general manager Jorge Valdano.

“They have said that Madrid is following me. I’m proud and honored that I am linked with this team, which in my opinion is the best club in the world,” said Coentrao.

“However, I’ve not yet talked with anyone from Real Madrid.”
