Mourinho Wants Ashley Cole At Real Madrid

Departing Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly plotting to bring Chelsea left-back Ashley Cole to Real Madrid if he takes the top job there.

Following his successful treble-winning season with Inter, the Portuguese tactician is widely tipped to take over from Manuel Pellegrini at Real Madrid and has already started to think about new players to bring into the Bernabeu.

Cole is reportedly aware that Mourinho wants to reunite with him and that the former Chelsea manager is prepared to pay up to £25million for the England international.

Despite having four years left to run on his Stamford Bridge contract, Cole is believed to be considering a move but it is likely we will know nothing more until after the World Cup.
